im mostly into generation 1 pokemon, i have played gold and silver though and liked those, but i dont know much about anything past that so i have been trying to catch up on the other generations before this game comes out lol. playing ruby right now and pokemon dx gale of darkness. so far they seem pretty cool

I have two games on the list I like:

The first one is Soul Silver. Not only is it an upgraded/retouched version of Gold/Silver/Crystal, but I really like the features of the game. Crystal was great, I admit, but with the remake there was so much more possible to do in Kanto too. In crystal Kanto was something like a large abandoned region with only a few people staying there. (Everything was gone, safarizone, the graveyard tower became a radiotower you couldn't enter, etc.) Plus Soulsilver has the battle frontier and Pokéthlon. I could beat the crystal game with a single Single Pokémon called Feraligatr, that only knew HM moves called: Strenght, Surf, Waterfall and Cut. I'd even beat up Red with this thing. Anyways since the Pokémon from the trainers are pretty strong I'd say I also like the game for putting in strong Pokémon, making it easier to train your Pokémon to level 100.

Black, to be honest, at first when I saw the game I was doubting that I would ever buy the game. I mean, It would probably have the same old story about becoming champion, and being a single trainer that beats up an entire dangerous criminal organisation that wants to take over the region. Same story, EVERY SINGLE GAME, but just with other characters and other ways of domination the world. And when I saw the first Pokémon designs I was crying that it would be the worst ever pokémon video game. So when all the Pokémon were found that would appear ingame I was counting how many of the fully evolved Pokémon I liked. If it would be less than 6, that would mean I wouldn't buy the game, more than 6 and I would buy it. I found 9 Pokémon I liked so I decided I would buy the game.
The next problem came to my mind, which game should I buy. When I looked at the diffrence in appearing Pokémon it were those I didn't care about so I decided to look at what Legendary I liked the most. Reshiram came out, I ignored the little detail that made everyone think a bit odd. You'll probably know what I refer to.
Anyways, bought the game, started to play and the storyline actually got me very intrested, as it was not as you would usually do. I also liked the graphics. So now Black is one of my favourite games. ~

Meowth, this thread is almost a year old. Black and White weren't out yet.
