My flygon knows draco meteor, dragon claw, earthquake, and heat wave. And the fact that it shouldnt really have a problem with ice types makes him awesomer. But if you dont want flygon, i would totally go with kingdra or salamence.

And why would u say he doesnt have a problem with ice? Ice is 4x effective against flygon
xhizor8201:
Did it ever occur to you that he has high speed and can learn fire type moves such as fire blast, heat wave, etc. or moves like stone edge and such.
Viper:
I understand that, just sounds like ur saying hes immune to ice

Ice Shard has priority, like Quick Attack, and is the most commonly seen physical ice move in all metagames. And while those attacks work, they also have lower than optimal accuracies. Ice moves, in general, have 100%.
So, Flygon can do well against opposing Pokemon with an ice move. It's usually better to U-Turn out into something that can take it.

I dun like flygon...
:D When I pick my pokemon, I go as much with looks as I do with actual stats. Flygon kind of looks like a fly... I hate flies.
I've never used it myself, but Kingdra is a pretty good pokemon, and Dragonite is always a good choice, with the addition of making a lot of people (me) feel nostalgic.
Though, from that list, I'd say Garchomp, then Dragonite, then Salamence.
Not that Salamence isn't good, but...
