Good thing about the Wii is that you can play OOT, TW and SS (Skyward Sword, the new game) on it :D that's 3 Zelda games on 1 console

Oh Mr_Dark your so helpful. :D

@Tealize: Yeah I agree Skyward Sword seems ok (the graphics are unique and pretty!) there was nothing to grasp on yet, but I'm sure it will be good, after all, how can their be a bad zelda game?

I remember playing Ocarina of Time, my favorite zelda game yet. I would stay up for hours playing it. It was a new thing at the time and I'm still amazed at the detail and length of the game. For those who played Majoras Mask, is it good and what is it about?

Majora's Mask is my personal favorite. It's a lot more dark themed than Ocarina of Time as it deals a lot with death and destruction of this place called Termina (which Link stumbled into when he was chasing the Skull Kid (main antagonist) who stole his horse). The Skull Kid changes Link into a Deku Scrub and leaves him alone inside a clocktower with this creepy Mask Salesman. The salesman tells you that if you can get back the mask that the Skull Kid was wearing, he will help you change back into a kid.

That's the intro anyway. The game itself has you on a 72-hour time limit (3 in-game days) which you can reset at anytime by playing the Song of Time (you can also slow down time, effectively doubling it, by playing a secret song). There are four temples in all, each having its own theme. You can change into a total of 4 characters-- deku, zora, goron and another secret one --each with their own abilities. NPCs will react to you differently depending on which form you take as well. Also, there are 20 extra masks you can collect by completing side quests involving the NPCs lives. The side quests are actually my favorite part as they go into such detail on the lives and labors of these people who haveu to relive everything every three days, over and over again until you come along and save them.

Anyway, sorry it got kind of long, but I hope you get the general idea of what this epic game is about. It is DEFINITELY worth a play-through (or two :D).

Let me know if you do decide to play it! It's an absolutely enthralling game :)

That sounds nice, I might give it a try. Is it a sequel to OoT? Or a stand alone game?

Also, is it just me or is the Legend of Zelda time line confusing?

LoZ doesn't really have a timeline. But some fans made one http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline

--- Quote ---The Timeline dictates the order of canonical games in the Legend of Zelda series. Its precise chronology of events is not confirmed and is hotly debated among fans. There are bits and pieces of definitive information to connect certain games to each other, but there is no definitive explanation for how every game relates to each other in a standardized timeline of events.

Yes, it is a direct sequel to OoT, but it takes place in an alternate universe (Termina).  The timeline has been the subject of much debate for a long time :P  There's no real canon timeline, just what you think is true :)
