You can start a poll in all topics.

yes I understand that, but I think it would be cool if all the polls were stored in a separate sections, so that you can just flick through a list of the polls

I do like many of the ideas that NinjaBlaze brought up, alongside Mr_Dark's.
As far as implementing a chat box that would be connected to our IRC channel, that's just not going to happen. We would be flooded with join/parts.
Flashy:
Definantly add new forum categories.. The ones here don't really catch my interest too well. Try adding: coding, gaming, and such.
