Hey everyone! Anyone up to form a clan once the game publishs?

...That's actually a pretty good idea. Though, with this, there can be people that just create clans and have just them or just two people in the clan, and so many people do that that very few real clans can get made.

Well I know that. I actually mentioned it before. I just don't think that obnoxious people like that deserve to have athourity. And yes, there are people that will not leave just 'cause they think it's unfair.

Another way to avoid abuse is to have players from the same IP range unable to join the same clan.
And , just because a player founds a clan doesnt necessarily make him/her a leader. Founding should limit the founder to "founding privilleges". And to avoid the 2-3 member spam clan, a clan must have at least 6 members in a week or face deletion. And after that week of existence, players should be given a ballot and vote for whomever they want to lead the clan.
Then, every other month or so, upon entering the "clan"/Guild house, players are automatically prompted into another vote for leadership in the clan.
Because one way to prevent corruption and mishandling of power is to limit the time one can actually be in power.

Honestly I'm not worrying about getting a clan made, or really joining one at this point, I think I'd rather join one just because I don't care if I'm leader or not and in a really good clan I know I won't be promoted to a second in command position easily unlike most clans I typically join in other mmorpgs. I want a challenge :)
