I'm pretty sure orphans love cookies more than us. The orphanage came from the fact that it is more charitable, and would make me feel less selfish.

I really should start elaborating my thoughts, too many people have gotten mad for slight miscommunications. Not saying you got mad, just it seems to happen to me a lot.

Cortex became confused. Cortex hurt himself in confusion. Cortex is out of usable one liners. Cortex whited out.

Well, it's considered as the 'golden ratio'. Many things in nature apparently occur in that ratio, that is 1:1.618033988749895

And I think the body of people itself contains a lot of examples, though I don't know the specifics. Maybe a google search would do it. But in the meantime, I'm back to vectors.

Oh I remember reading about that in the book zero. Pythagoras was the one to propose that theory, and eventually came up with the Pythagorean Theorem from it. He was raved as a lunatic though, and was chased away from his home, while his followers escaped, he didn't because he refused to cross a field of beans. I can't remember the specifics of the golden ratio either, only that it has a significant part in geometry.

Nice! Though I would have liked to have read that as well... Otherwise, the phi symbol is used in magnetism, to denote the electric field strength.

Maybe they shouldn't have called Pythagoras a lunatic, and listened, but what can you do. we may have had more advances in science, math, or anything if we only listened to the great minds we recognize now.

Yea, Galileo is a very know example for that. Who knows the technological progress we'd be in if he was listened in the first place? :P
