oh really?

Meduso:
Lack of difficult fights - most gym leaders and trainers are pushovers, the elite 4 tended to only be difficult the first time through. Too many pointless battles - we all know the frustration of a trainer with 6 magikarp/metapods etc, and of course the zubat hordes. Wish there were more NPCs with mixed-type parties, strong/rare pokemon, higher levels generally; GSC/HGSS gym leaders are the best example of this... level 9 pidgeotto anyone?

Raikt:
The only thing I've grown to hate about the game is the necessity of the HM's. In the first two games, it was a cute thing to have. It made your Pokemon feel like part of the team; they were useful and fun to use outside of battle. Now, however, it just annoys me having to haul them around with me. Generally, they have almost no worth in battle (re: Flash, etc.)

I think that the HM system has just grown outdated. All the new features make the game fun, exciting, and fresh; while every time I pick up an HM, all I can think is, "Great. Now I have alter a moveset to fit this on or I have to start carrying around an HM user again."

I actually hated the safari zone in the originals. It was the worst part of the games. I mean some of the most bad-ass pokemon were in there but having to go in 500 billion times and throw rocks at pokemon to catch them was the worst idea ever, even if the idea did come from the fact taht it was suposed to be a pokemon reserve. And what was up woth the poopty balls you had to use.

reizhart:
i hate..
the "based on luck" system to get a shiny pokemon or a pokerus or a shiny pokemon with pokerus..  :P
