HELP! i just signed up and have no idea how to play this.. wheres the map?

help me please! i just started and i know the forums say dont repost questions that have already been posted but i looked as long as i could without getting completely confused and i cannot find the map or how to start or anything please help me! from one pokemon lover to another.  :o

The game is not out yet, don't worry. You have the time to read through the site and learn more about it in the meantime.
