The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

chocobo:
I love Oblivion. It's probably my favorite game. I've had to reinstall a good plenty times though. Lost a lot of data. My current game has 130 hours. I'm a Red Guard with a custom class. He is level 38. With a number of my main skills mastered.

I need to start a new account soon. Everyone besides my merchant and the few people you can't kill in the Imperial city are dead. I've stolen everything from all of the houses in the Imperial City and fenced them. I have a little over 2 million gold. I haven't messed with any mods yet though.

TrainerX:
I'm double posting again, but has anyone else seen the trailer for Skyrim? It looks awesome! Bethesda improved the third-person view, made it possible to equip a weapon to each hand, you can equip a spell in each hand, or two in one hand, which fuses the spells. When you talk to an NPC, the screen doesn't zoom in, and they don't stare at you the whole conversation. They look at you for a while after you start talking, and then they'll resume whatever they were doing while the rest of the conversation happens.

chocobo:
Yup. Read all the things that are changing. I'm unhappy about some of them and much happier about others. I want to know if there are even going to be classes this time around. The way it seemed in the articles is that they eliminated classes. They've also eliminated some skills. I'm curious on how the combat is going to change as well. As much as I love Oblivion, I wasn't huge on the easy combat. A more dynamic combat leveling system is definitely necessary. The screen shots are looking nice though. It shouldn't disappoint! It's just a shame it's 10 months away...

Houshined:
i dont know if this has been mentioned but they have already started development of the next elder scrolls.

it started the moment they were done is fallout

Mr Pokemon:
I have a feeling I won't be playing New Vegas in 10 months.
