Well, I'm like a couple feet into the cave. What's supposed to happen is the crew should clear out the now-smaller rocks, and people will find me as they work their way into a clearing.

Luigifan, we're not to that point yet. I'm also not sure you can skip that far ahead. You can have a lead-up to that. But then again, I might have skipped an entire trek over Twist Mountain once...

Alright, then can i at least skip to Castelia city? It feels kinda pointless to go over every single detail.

No, there is game time here, you have to abide by that. It would be unrealistic to skip towns and have your pokemon suddenly levelled up.
