Yeah, I figured this one out. The main reason I'm so obsessed with being a "Guardian" now is Anurak, really. Every single lesson, and every time I even see him, he pounds the importance of protecting others into my mind like a nail. So, I imagine that he wants her there as a way to remind me of *who* I'm protecting.

You do know the weight of a genuine $1 coin and you are also told that each counterfeit coin weighs 1 gram more than it should. You may weigh the coins on a pointer scale (ie not a set of scales with two dishes). What is the smallest number of weightings needed to determine which stack is counterfeit?
