Well, the law of self-terminating clans, better known as the WoW law, states that every Steve and Sally will make a clan. Half of them won't get any members besides the leader. Half of the remainder will get one or two members, but they'll never do anything and eventually everyone leaves. two thirds of the remainder of THAT will get many members, but the leaders start being greedy whores and everyone leaves.

Only a small percentage with a charismatic leader like Frenchfry and a decent amount of active members will be successful.

The thing is, there are not enough people active on PU to have many "successful" guilds. When the game comes out, there will be more people, but until then, guilds will really have no purpose.
