With Ruby on my shoulder, I left Nuvema, for more adventuring....
Then who else should appear?
A Team Plasma grunt.
They told us about these guys during the boat ride.
- You look weak enough... If I battle you and I win, I take your Eevee and Chillamy as Prizes.
"No! you can't have them."
- You have no choice but to battle, my dear.
The grunt released a Golbat and Croagunk.
"Fine, but I'm warning you! Ruby, Cara, Let's GO!"
Both Cara and Ruby took Battle Positions, as I issued commands.
"Cara, Shadow Ball! Ruby, Ice Beam!"
Bing:
The battle with the Scraggy who seemed to endlessly climb out of the sand was, going poorly. Bing and Ty were surrounded. Monferno was the only pokemon of Bing's that was still active.
Hmmm... Monferno use mach punch! Ty, use high jump kick!
PkMn Trainer Black:
Raikken evolved into pikachu.
Aka-Kami:
I put on a fierce look, and follow my trainer's command. I take a step and shoot and Ice Beam at the Golbat, fainting it, as I know from knowledge that Ice is super-effective against Flying.
LeoReborn:
Ruby downed the Golbat with a single Ice Beam,
"Wow, Ruby, great job!"
Meanwhile, Cara's Shadow Ball did a decent bit of damage to Croagunk, despite one tiny detail...
"Awwww... CRAP! I forgot that Fighting NEGATES Ghost-type moves!!!
It's not your fault Cara, I goofed this one... Cara, Just Tackle it, ok?"
Cara finished Croagunk with a brutal Tackle.. Then... What's this?
Caramell began to sparkle and shine, its tail split in two, It grew tufts of fur in its Cheeks, and Its fur turned Pink.
Caramell evolved into an Espeon.
"That's great Cara, now we don't have to worry about types!"
Cara learned Confusion, and forgot Tail Whip.
"Ruby, Cara.. Great job to the two of you. As for you, Grunt... Cara, CONFUSION!"
I laughed happily, as the grunt flew into the distance, and we all went to the next town.
