Where would you come from?

Actually, Hoenn has the fewest fire types. Only six, to be exact. Followed by Sinnoh, which has seven.

Sinnoah (In DP) only has 2 families; with a total of 5 fire type pokemon.
Hoenn has a total of 11 fire types in the wild. Big difference.

Oh, I misunderstood. I was looking at how many new fire types were in that generation.

If you count the fire type forms of Arceus and Rotom then technically there are 7. And what is the seventh one in Hoenn? The only ones are Torchic, Combusken, Blaziken, Numel, Camerupt, and Torkoal.
