And it would take them forever to make this game if they did all of that. First, they don't have enough pixel artists. And Second, the game has taken almost three years(I think) to get to this point. And they're using the original pokemon. So if they made new pokemon, they would need to come up with new ideas for new pokemon, and 120-150 pokemon sprites. It only takes Gamefreak and Nintendo about a year to make their pokemon games, but this is an MMO, with a new region, and other new and awesome stuff. So if they made new pokemon, this game would take forever to get done, and it would take even longer if they added a thing where people could create their own pokemon.

They wouldn't do that, because everyone would be pissed. Frenchfry was on IRC and they said that the joke would have something to do with art. And I think that they're going to use some horrible sprites made by someone who was banned on April Fools day.

We all noticed. We're not idiots. Well, most of us aren't idiots. I think Kamaran put it there to show everyone the graphics, or to get new members to join when they see the graphics.
