Hey everyone! I'm going to post my poems here! See what you think of them!  ;D

US/UK Poem

The US and the UK, have had a rocky past,
They have spilt brotherly blood on their land,
Lets make a friendship, that will forever last,
arm in arm, hand in hand,

To the present day, we have worked as a team,
To fight frightful wars, to keep us free,
To make the world happy, that is our dream,
To live together, in happiness and glee.

Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami

Japan, which is the land of peace,
Has endured something tragic,
The nuclear clouds are begining to increase,
What could help them? Magic?

But, Japan is staying strong,
During these horrid times,
May their country, live forever long,
That's why I'm writing these rhymes.

Romance Poem

I feel so warm,
Might it be love?
It's like a great storm,
from the heavens above,
Might this be love I feel?
It makes me feel strong,
Do I feel this for real?
Or could this love be wrong?

Tomato Poem

Something tasty and also red,
It's shiny and really round,
It's soft, just like a bed,
It also doesn't grow in the ground,

It has a stalk, right on the top,
When it's dark red, that's when it's ripe,
When you start eating, you can never stop,
If it stains clothes, it'll take a good wipe!

Tomato is used in a lot of things,
For example, tomato sauce,
It's food, fit for the king's!
In the banquet of a main course! 

What do you think of them?

St. Jimmy:
I think they're pretty good, but the ones with an odd number of lines sound a little weird to me.

You're right... They sound really corny and weird.

I'll fix it!  ;D

Not corny, just... Incomplete.
