I woke up tied to a chair, I couldn't see any electrical traces so I opened my eyes but the lights were on, how could I not have detected that?

I aimed my fingers towards the wall, nothing, I cannot even fire electricity. I look directly at the light, I stare at it for a short while, nothing happens. How can my powers be inactive? How could I just lose them? What happened after the last training session?

I dozed back off to sleep.

They took me to a room with a window. i looked in and could see a person tied up.
Why is he in there like that?
Because, he is an agent of Chase. Chase now knows that we are here, so we must leave. They will find his corpse here, nothing else.
You can't kill him! We could use him to feed Chase false info! Think of the oproturnity you would be killing!

I walked into the room with the person and sat down in a chair across the room.

I had never interigated a person before, I was making this up as I went. I figured that I had to prove that I meant business. I walked up to a buzzer on the wall and pressed it.

One of the shifters shifted into a huge disfigured human and walked into the room.
