A few that actually changed me as a person from watching them are:

Life As A House (Pretty heavy film, evokes all sorts of emotions)
American Beauty (Another heavy one, but beautiful and thought-provoking)
Yes Man (Inspiring. Believe it!)

Yes Man was one of my favorites!

Drag Me To Hell was the most realistic depiction of demonic activity to ever hit the big screen. Love that movie.

Also, has anyone here ever watched a movie called The Monster (Home Sweet Home)? It's billed as a horror movie, but it's so much deeper than that. It's actually quite sad.
