I know he looks kinda wonky, but hopefully when I add some shading and lines it'll look much better. How about the pose though? Think its good enough? D: Anything I should change now, in the early stages, any color correction?

the design from pikachu is good, now it just needs some lining, shading etc (where are the black parts from his ears/his nails?). The yellow needs to be a bit darker though, and the brown on his tail/back needs to be a bit darker too. But that is just when I compare him next to the series (nitpicks). You're really good at this. Keep on the good work.

The reason it probably all looks lighter is because I've been using Ken Sugimori's official artwork for my color pallettes instead of the sprites or the anime. This can easily be changed though. :]
The black parts will also be added. Was planning on it. xD

The way his face bends seems odd. It doesn't seem to be the shape of a head.
