We can ask because there are 3 days left to Christmas

You don't pay attention do you? They make this on their spare time. They're making no money off of this project. They keep the servers running with their own money. They can release it when they want to. Yes, they said December, but things can happen, and it is a possibility that it's delayed for another reason.
