I blinked, they were still battling? How did i miss that? I shrugged it offf, it looks like it's about to end. The challenger won, he has ice types, so i'll make sure to stay clear from them. I looked back at the gym leader. I scratch the back of my head with a clueless expression.
I guess i'll have to wait some more, wont I?

Sarah sees Pikachu go behind the boulders.
-Pikachu, where did you...
She looks behind the boulders to see a yellow pokemon, in pain on the ground.
-Big brother, come quick! I found the pokemon, but it's hurt!
I hear her yelling, and I run over to the boulders. I look behind them to see a pokemon of golden color, panting and in pain.
-I wonder what pokemon it is...
I remember the pokedex Professor Oak gave me. I hadn't ever had a use for it until now, so I dug around at the bottom of my bag until I found it. I pull it out to see if it can identify this pokemon.
-Checking databases...
-Checking...
-Checking...
-Unknown Pokemon. Capturing image...
-Image captured. Sending...
-Image sent to Professor oak.
-Please wait for analysis.
-Huh. It can't identify it.
-Hi...Are you gonna be okay?
Sarah reaches out towards the pokemon.
-Be careful. It might be dangerous.
-Lt. Surge-
-Yeah...Give me about an hour, and I'll be ready for you.
He looks towards the hole Malachi's Weavile made. All the more foreboding since it dug through a steel-plated floor.
-*sigh* Gotta patch that up.

Alright, come out Gabite!
I send out my Gabite, we both put the dirt back into the hole, and Gabite makes sure it's stable so the floor dosent collapse. Then he uses dragonbreath to bend the metal back. It wasent purfect, it looked like a dark grey dot in the floor, but it was stable, the entire process took awhile.
it's not perfect, but it's stable. Not even a mammoswine could break it... unless it used dig of course.
