Latias sees me and zooms in front of me.

-Good Morning.

-Oh, good morning! Good to see you're already fully awake.

Snivy came down the stairs and came to stand next to me.

-Oh, one second.

I go to sit on the couch and get my laptop. I went to the page for the Strongest Wings tournament and looked at the rules. After skimming them, I found what I was looking for.

-Aha, there it is. This rule says that the tournament is done with two pokemon. One flying and one...well, not flying. They say that any way that you can use your ground-based pokemon in the tournament is fair game.

-Meaning?

-I can use both Latias and Snivy in the tournament!

-That sounds cool!

(Edit: Forgot about the news thing.)

At the top of the page, there was a sign that said 'URGENT!!'. I clicked on it, it was a news report. It said that a former Rocket-admin was found dead in his house along with his family. They say they haven't apprehended the murderer yet, and he was a notorious bounty hunter. I was hiding the report from Sarah as she got scared by this stuff easily.

-Sarah, I want you to stay with me all of today. I don't want you leaving my side, alright?

-Umm...Okay?

Aquashin:
Latias nods looking at the rules and then at the news

"do they have a picture of the one? maybe i saw him before..."

Darkstar64:
-No, they don't have one. They said he actually called in the murder himself, but then quickly escaped the scene.

I was a little worried. It happened in Pewter City, not far from here. Hopefully, he wouldn't have any reason to come after us, but we WERE carrying a legendary pokemon with us, so...that was unlikely.

-But how about we get some breakfast first?

-Okay.

-Pika-pi...

-Sni-VY!

It looked like everyone was hungry, and I was in a relatively good mood this morning (other than the news report), so I decided to make pancakes again.

(GEEZ, I'm unoriginal...)

Latias nods and goes to the kitchen waiting for them

I flipped on the news to a pleasant surprise.

-This has nothing to do with the recent explosion at the local Team Rocket Facility. We have no info on who the killer is and we will get it to you as we learn more.

No doubt the intended targets knew about it and were getting a little worried. I picked up my phone and called my brother Drew.

-Drew speaking.
-The Police have the number to this phone, I need a new one. Send it to my current address.
-Sure thing brother. It should be there with in the hour.

I hung up my phone and walked to the window. I could see Professor Oak, James had beaten me to him, so I would have to wait. I flipped the channel from news to a local channel. There was some sort of race about to start. I decided I would watch it.
