I've been playing the game, and I dont know what's wrong with my post. There are levels 1-100 in Mt.Battle, right? And I just made it to level 41, lost, got teleported to the bottom and went on my way to mug some trainers. What's wrong with it?

But you can teleport directly to level 30 if you got to level 37 the past time. Basically, I'm saying why would your character start over if he could go directly to level 30?

I agree with lugia, I mean, I played the game a lot too, and you can go back to the begging of every ten levels you beat, you just have to beat them first.
EDIT:He could have beaten the level before hand. His pokemon are strong enough.

Obvious reason: He was training, so he went back to the beginning to battle all over again, and even though it was slow at first, he was able to level up his pokemon alot more when he got to the 20's, and got his pokemon to level 50. the reason he lost was because he's stubborn abotu healing his pokemon unless they're all fainted. I've done this 100 times in the game and eventualy beat everything.
