Well, take it. It's a Pichu. If we don't make it, I know you will. It can be there for you.
I looked back at Shark's corpse.
Houdoom, use dig, make a grave for Shark.
Houndoom did as ordered, and I picked up Shark's body and placed it in the grave. Houndoom covered him up. Some of Skark's blood got on my clothes.
I'm getting some sleep, been through a lot.

Calvin released the Pichu
it looked confused "Pi...pichu?"
Calvin knelt down "ummm...listen...you trainer..."
Pichu's eyes widened in horror at the news before screaming at the top of its lungs, falling to its knees in sorrow
Calvin scooped it up and cradled it "shhh...I know....Its hard to lose someone you love...its so hard....

I stared at the pichu for a moment, watching it wail in grief. Then I reached down and released Pikachu.
"Pikachu...See if you can comfort Pichu..."

Pichu went catatonic after the shock...it was shivering in Calvin's arms, staring in the distance
"listen...Pichu and I are heading for a nap...I think it'll do us both a bit of good"
