on another note, this could be considered my entry form for Balancer! 8)

They aren't actively looking for balancers at the moment, but if you really want to be a balancer, you should read this:

You don't need to fit every requirement (for example, I'm not yet 18), but it would be helpful if you do ;)
and also this:

Try filling out the form, send it to Level5Pidgey, and he'll evaluate you. I used Tauros as an example pokémon, but choose whatever pokémon you want and is under/overpowered. Be creative, surprise us ;)
Note:You'll have to learn to work with damage calculators and using the damage formula though, it's an important part of the job (the part that takes time :-\).
Mr. Fox:
ok thanks... I wish i wasn't dyslexic right now.
Tickles:
If there is a formula, send me a link with it. I hate math, but I'm really good at it. I am not applying for the position, I just want something to do, as today, I have the flu, and will be very bored.

Just take your time, there's no time limit. The Tauros analysis I've made took me 2 whole days. How to improve the pokémon wasn't that hard, but the calculations etc took alot of time (coupled with limited computer acces :-\). Just work on it until you have the feeling it's done/finished/perfect. If you post it then, you might become a balancer (that's how it happened to me).

the formula:http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Damage_modification
damage calculator:http://www.smogon.com/calc/ (I wish I knew about this one earlier, it's awesome)
But for now, Back on topic.
Mr. Fox:
I haven't thought of a name for this one, but its my special version of Glaciator
Dragon/Fire.
Base Stats: 60/90/50/140/60/100 Total: 500.
Abilitys: Flash Fire, Mold Breaker, Unnerve
Sample Set: Special Sweeper.
Ability: Mold Breaker.
Evs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 HP.
Moves: Hell Fire, Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Cosmic Drain.
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid.
With a Choice Scarf equiped, this pokemon can outrun and Destroy any pokemon that gets in it way. And with Cosmic Drain if they switch into a counter you can use it as a sacrificial lamb to prepare your next pokemon to take it down. This is not a pokemon to be taken lightly.
Hell Fire: Fire: The User cloaks its foe in an internal fire that consumes any hold item. Power:100, Accuracy: 85. 40% chance to destroy Hold Item. PP:1p; 16 After PP Max
Cosmic Drain: Normal: The user Absorbs the power of the Cosmic, fainting. Upon the next turn it will fully heal and power up the next pokemon sent out. +1 to every stat. 20% Chance to fail and cause the user to faint with no beneficial effect. +3 priory. PP: 10; 16 After PP Max
This is a dragon with two heads, one is always on fire, and the other is not. kinda like heaven and hell in one being. Though I think this one is a bit too strong...
Another one, this one if for Roloc. So make sure you tell me what you think buddy.
Again I don't have a name for this one.
Bug/Flying.
Base Stats: 110/110/60/40/40/170 Total: 530
Abilities: Speed Guard. (The pokemon has a 20% boost in evasion.)
Sample Set: Speedy Avenger.
Item: Choice Band.
Ability: Speed Guard.
Nature: Adamant
EVS: 252 HP, 252 Attack,4 HP.
Moves: Avenger, U-Turn, Aerial Ace, Final Gambit.
This is the best revenge killer you can find, anywhere. with 170 base speed he will easily outrun any non scarfed pokemon, and with a choice band, assuming you are using him as intended, he will always finish them off. Final Gambit if for finishing off any pokemon that has been annoying your team. Avenger is the obvious main stay of this set as it doubles in power if one of your pokemon fainted the previous turn. U-turn if for getting out if you use him as a scouting lead. And Aerial Ace is for stab.
Avenger:Bug: The user takes revenge for a fallen comrade, doubles in power if used after a pokemon fainted on your side. Hits through Protect and Detect when use with Speed Guard. Power: 55, Accuracy: 100. Hits through all forms of defense if used with Speed Guard. PP: 15; 24 After PP Max
Real pain of a pokemon, maybe a little OP.
For those who want to name it: It is a small pokemon, no bigger then your hand, it is a ninja bug as well.
Edit: I might make my own thread where people can request me to make fakemon...
