I looked at the girl, the instrument she was playing gave off a soothing sound. I stepped closer, almost in a trance. After what I had gone through, anything peaceful felt like I needed to get closer to it. I didn't want to say a word to interrupt. I sat down beside her and closed my eyes.

I began to concentrate on who I was in the past. With Shroud locked away, I couldn't remember anything about me. Was he just feeding me false memories? Who I was is a complete mystery now. I only knew the name Tarok, I only knew these merciful people, who trust me enough to let me travel with them. But who am I?

I sat there, trying to remember, but forcing it was not the answer. I decided to just enjoy the music.

She was a little shocked, but she decided to keep playing, seeing that Tarok like's the music. I noticed something though, a tarok emblem, like Tarok showed me when he tried making a cloak. it was the same color as her long yellow hair. After another few minutes of playing, she stops.

I must admit, it's been a long time since I've had visitors.

That music seems familiar, but I'm not too sure. Mind telling us who you are, it's strange that we find someone in the middle of a forest playing some music.

I gave her a serious look. There was a symbol on her, but I couldn't remember what it meant. Shroud holds the key to my memories, I guess he made sure to hold on to them before he got locked away. But whoever this girl was, she might have some kind of clue, maybe to help me find out who I am.

What does that symbol stand for?

I noticed something new about Tarok. Before now, he always seemed distant and distressed. But now, it's almost as if he's a lot puppy.

...Pun not intended...

It seemed he forgot everything. That girl had some sort of symbol on her. Not just a moment ago, Tarok scorched that same symbol onto some rags, and now he has no clue what it is.

I knew Shroud had something to do with this, and I'm going to beat the crap out of him the next chance I get.

Well this forest happens to be my favorite spot to play, the pokemon are freindly, and it's always peaceful. And this symbol... it was from my husbands clan... he was from a race of people that could fuse with their pokemon without crystals. He sew this dress himself. I was in this forest one day, away from my husbands village... when I got back.... everything, was gone to the ashes. I notice you have horns, I'm guessing your a Tarok?

Yeah, he is... but, how did you know that?

Well the horns are a dead givaway, that and he has a houndoom tail. Only Taroks can fuse like that. That or people who have connections with them.

I gave myself a mental slap to the face. She smiled warmly.

So, whats your story? Not many people cross this forest... well execpt the occasional crazy bug catcher.

She giggled a little, and the Krikitune seemed to be tuning himself.
