I mainly just carried the team.
Lane phase, sort of baby sitting, but Sion refused to final hit the minions and my mana stayed pretty low... As well as we had to fight heimer and graves luckily Heimer snatched all the kills from Graves, keeping their own carry and one of the most powerful carry characters in the game underfed. So in the teamfight phase we focused all fed champions which were two of them: Heimer and Caitlyn.

Most of you probably dont know me since i just chill in the balance server but feel free to ad me.
Name is CindyMEC. I'm lvl 30 on NA server.
I pretty much always play Lux. If shes taken or banned i fall back on Janna, Nidalee or Le' Blanc.
I dont really play competitively because i have a hard time not dying. I occasionally have a good team and will go about 7-3-20. If my team is getting wrecked i tend to go 3-10-11 (because i keep trying to push lanes after my team gives up) so... i shouldn't depend on my team so much but i do.
People always make me solo mid which means i have to do a carry build which i dont particularly like. but i can take most people. I just have trouble if they have range and a lot of basic attack. Ashe and Caitlin usually destroy me. -_-
Also, yall know any way to build Lux so she has some survivability but isn't totally incapable of dealing damage?
Right now i just get Ring -> boots -> deathcap and then some cd reduction. but with this ill get two or three shotted and my average killed in time is about 1.5 to 3 seconds from full health. =/

Simple yet hard: Don't go tanking, instead stay back behind your team and deal damage from afar. Works like a charm. If still not enough for you get Zhonya's Hourglass.

That would be AP Lux w/ hardly any CD. :)
As you know she is Team Fight reliant. If she go solo and wander off... she's able to die easily which shows why you die a lot.
When you play Lux.. usually she goes mid.
@Yuki- then you got lucky lol. When you do play Sona, you gotta be careful not to waste your mana too much b/c she's mana hungry just from W and Q. =/

Never had any mana problems with Sona (I play her as my main (support)), just gotta have the right runes + items
