I see no where on the first post that it says you need 15 points to keep your spot. the only thing I see about 15 is that the king can't make the goal lower then 15 for any given week.

From this I'd say that 17 IS the minimum.
And I would like a clarification from Noah. Is it who ever passes the set goal first is crowned king or whoever has the most points at the end of the week. Cause some people may not be on as much as others.

Indeed, unless it's been changed, I would say that is correct.

From that I would say that you must have at least 17 points before the final day for you to keep your position for certain. If you can't gather enough points before the final day then you will have to gather the points on the final day, but you risk losing your spot to a Challenger.
That's what I would interpret anyways. Maybe Noah can confirm which is the acting rule.
