[Closed] Poisoned Utopia| Time: Evening| Weather: Cloudy
Ayara012:
I glanced over as the boy shoved the yoyo back into his pocket and leaped up on top of another building. He pointed Northwest, and began racing along the brick wall.
Try to catch up!
"Try to catch up"? Really? It seems he thinks I can't keep up with him, just because I'm younger...Well, no point waiting about. It would be easier to avoid the Ground stalkers if I just flew. It took me only an instant, due to practice, and then I jumped, flying just over the buildings with dragon wings, the Ground stalkers following close behind. Fast little nuisances. I quickly pulled up even with the boy.
Ayara! You close behind?
Of course I am. Do not assume that I cannot keep up with you. Out of curiosity, what type of light source is this?
Hank:
I was day dreaming in class again........
The teachers in the school don't care if you pay attention or not, because at the end of the day they still get paid. After snapping out of my semi-hypnosis due to the bell ringing I quickly check the clock.
It's twelve o'clock.
I see a couple of my peers stare at me and then some heads turn away. Life is so dull... and predictable. I like it that way. Staying silent for me means that nobody bothers you. I will admit, I dislike being bothered. That's probably a reason why I left home. I don't even remember if I had a reason to leave my former home to be honest.
I finally stand up and start to pick up my book bag.
It was a typical book bag with two straps that go on your shoulders. I silently start to walk out of the room, and then suddenly heads turn around again. I decided to not even bother to look back, and I walked out of the classroom. Suddenly the classroom teacher calls out my name,
"Grandohn," he starts to say, "come back inside. I have an announcement."
Something is wrong. I can tell that he's scared about something, yet he's trying to keep calm. I get back inside of the classroom.
"Close the door and take a seat please," he says.
I oblige and do as told. I'm a little suspicious about what's going on though. I'm sure everyone is too, as I hear low whispers throughout the room.
"Settled down everyone. Settle down." I only bother to listen to his voice. I'm fixated on the clock. The whispers start to die down, and the teacher begins to speak again,
"Utopia has been attacked during the school day. The community seized this opportunity to defeat the Insectoroths without causing panic. It is advised to stay within groups.
He lets the new information sink in for a moment, and then he begins to speak once more, "oh, and don't forget to carry around something that is made up of lead. That is all.
The kids in my classroom begin to speak again. I do not have any friends to talk to about this, so I just leave the classroom without a word, right after the announcement. I wonder how Insectoroths made it into Utopia, but I do not really care enough to satisfy my deep crave for knowledge.
It's time to home now, I guess.

Shock almost tripped when he saw her. FLYING!? He had never seen a flying person before. Sure, he's seen a fish like chosen, but a FLYING one!?
" Oh... Uh... they're flares. Kinda like Dynamite, but brighter. Better than my glowsticks.." Shock shook his head, and smiled. " Less explosive, though....." He walked into a building in better conditions that the others, with a curtain and a board of wood for the door. " Here. if I'm right, the flares are under my hammock." Shock pushed the board down, and moved the curtain. " Urk. These better work..." He grabbed the box of flares, and tossed one to the chosen outside the house. " It's pretty easy to light. Just strike it against something dry. It get's hot though. And try not to drop it, or- well, you know what'll happen!"
Ayara012:
I smirked as i saw the boy almost stumble in surprise. i have to admit, it is enjoyable to observe peoples reactions when they see me flying with my transform wings.
I know what flares are. You do not have to explain to me.
I landed before the doorway as the boy walked in. A few seconds later, he tossed a flare out to me. I caught it, giving it a quick examination. It seemed old, but there didn't appear to be anything that would prevent it from working. How in the world had he gotten his hands on a bow full of flares like these...? I glanced up. The Ground stalkers would be upon us in a few seconds.
Bring that box and get out here. They're almost here.
I stepped back so that i could reach the nearby stone wall-that should be sufficient for lighting it. Now, to wait-it would be most effective to light this once they were closer, so that it would almost completely blind and disorient them.

The Leader of Utopia picks up a radio, and decides to contact his weapon on the failed mission. He has been enjoying a relaxing morning so far, only to learn that the recon mission was interrupted by a collapsing building, and a child.
Agent Frost, respond now! You have a lot to answer for. How can you let a child get the better of you? Do you know how much money we invested in your care, not to mention your training? You mother says to go easy on you, but to hell with that, you're a paladin for god's sake, you should have been able to handle that! One simple mission!
Fuming, he waits for a response from his now in hot water ice user.
(Alright guys, have fun. After response posts, I will start the first event.)

"Sir, this is Cyrus. Reporting in. We have managed to protect the civilia-"
"I don't care about the civilians. Your performance was unacceptable. Letting that child escape. We could have used him, as you can plainly see, our research isn't finished yet. Now listen to me. Do not fail another mission, or I may be forced to take drastic measures!"
I heard the radio click off. Slumping down more, I sighed. Today wasn't going well at all.
Standing up I decided to go get something to eat. Leaving he stadium, I headed home.

In a far off lab hidden deep within Utopia, the leader of the perfect world turned to his deranged scientist.
"Why, the hell, isn't, he, working! You told me that with his latest injection, he would lose his personality and become a shell that only does what he is told!"
"Heh, heh, heh, hahahahaha! Ahahahahaha! It's already working. I never said he's become a shell. I told you he'd become the perfect solider. Also to truly lose yourself, you must have something you care for ripped away. That last injection was to make him start caring. Then I plan to rip away everything he loves."
"It better work."
"Oh, it will. It will. AHhahahahahaHAAhhAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAha"
As the leader left the lab he could only hear laughter echoing throughout the hall.
