You SHOULDN'T be. it's bad for your grade. You should manage to finish your HW at HOME or in class the day it was assigned, NOT the class before on the day it's due.

Like she said, she's not helping you. So she made no effort to keep her voice down. Not that she's loud in the first place, but she wasn't whispering. I'm not surprised she heard Shock. Not surprised she heard Ayara, even though she's still outside the room. After all, she's the stealth instructor.
