That was my plan, but I don't know if it'll count as a trigger.

I wanted him to come to just for a moment to tell Meowth's character to take his weapon, and not to let it get broken.

Well, if it's important enough to him, then write a situation where it's in immediate danger, and he breaks for just a few seconds to call out "don't let it get broken" or something. Or, there could be a situation where he himself is about to destroy it but he breaks and stops himself. just a few ideas.

Seeing as how the weapon was the only way he could convince himself to join the rebels, yeah. It's pretty important to him.

Oh, whoops. Totally forgot.

Edit: I can only assume that since she didn't blatantly say it, it's most likely not made of lead.
