what region will we start in?

anyways i noticed just now tht this game includes many regions from each pokemon game so which do we start in hoen kanto or sino or do we choose and it affects which pokemon we get first?
p.s what would be nice is that we finish one region and go to the other and get its starter just like heartgold and soulsilver ;D

for what i think, and im not sure in this, i think that people will be able to chosse which region they start in, then change regions when they feel the need to

Where you got the idea that we were using the previous regions, I have no idea.
