Get PO from the official Pokemon Online website. Get our DB from the link I have on the forums here for the MOD. Those are the only two things needed for our balance server.
When you say "trouble getting the thing to work" what kind of trouble do you mean? I may be able to help you resolve the problem.
Keep in mind that our server is in the server list for PO. Just scroll Down till you see up then double click on the name and you will join.

I just go to download something, and it seems like I downloaded something different from what I wanted to download.
