Fight old pokemon characters

I think they won't. PU is trying to make a fresh game. So maybe there won't be any old characters appearing in this game (except for the storyline, like Giovanni).

Only the pokemon and the gameplay system will be the same (with some enhancements of course). Not the region, or the characters.

True but i would imagine you can pick a character from the original games up to black and white!

Again, we're only using the pokemon. You get a character you can customize. Didn't you see the paperdoll competition? That is a pretty big hint. Also, the gameplay system is being changed to something better. Look it up!
