The DB will be updated so you will have to update that. The client will remain unchanged unless something major happens and there is a need to update it.

I didn't absolutely hate it. The drawing, I don't really like. At all. The in-game pictures seem OK. I like pretty much all other Gen 6 stuff though, but I'm not crazy about Froakie, but I don't mind it that much. It isn't too bad.
