Whats your Favorite Pokemon Generation?

So many people seem to hate Gen 3, but it was one of my favorites.

Contrition:
I remember playing yellow as the most fun I had with pokemon, though Ruby was good too.  I know everyone seems to love Gen 2, but I actually got bored with that one.

I like Generation 3, it has some of my favorite Pokemon... :3

Mr Pokemon:
It was hard to choose between 3 and 4, but I chose 4, because of some of the new things implemented in the games. I liked the Poketch (I think that's how you spell it..) and some of the new Pokemon were cool.

Well, I only love the first generation of pokemon to be honest.
I've watch every episode of the first season of pokemon and have also downloaded it... Sometimes I watch it again, because it's so awesome :P
But the second generation was... meh.  At first I thought it would be cool, I was like "Yeah, new pokemon!" (C'mon, I was 11 years old :P) But when the episodes came, and new pokemon cards (Oh yes, I was a collector) I pretty much lost my interest in pokemon. Because they messed it up with all the new pokemon coming out :(.
In my personal opinion, they should have stayed with the first 151 pokemon!
