Yume Tsuki:
Tanith

Back to the exit Tanith heard the noises of the battle between the bandits and the robot going on. Whoever would win it didn't matter, she had to hurry up and fetch the data or she would be in big trouble. It would be hard to sneak into the chamber where the bandit was guarding. He was fixated on the opening, so he would most likely notice her. She had to somehow throw his attention somewhere else. She dropped on all fours. Looking for a rock or piece of scrap lying around but no luck. 'I guess I have no choice then... Gotta aim for the face.' She took a deep breath. 'Act swiftly... But precise.' She dashed forward on all fours and breathed a ball of fire towards the bandits face. She headed directly for the table.

Tickles:
@ Nex as Isaach

Oscar stopped sweeping for a moment and took another look at the monster.

So, what kind of powers do you have?

as Urusu

Archie took note of what his soldier said to him.

I see. I'll put this in the archives. Right now, go get that arm looked at. Wouldn't want you falling apart on us. Thank you for your time, Urusu.

He left to robot to tend to other things.

@Lubbies as Felix

The chosen seemed annoyed by the abrupt interruption.

Can't you see I'm busy. The nerve of people these days.

(Lubbies, you can take charge from here)

@ Flamelass

The bandit ducked in time, but fell into a pile of trash, leaving him distracted for a short time.

@ Everyone else, and their characters

Finish up here, and I'll start the time change

Yume Tsuki:
Tanith

Tanith jumped on the table making it crash down as she picked the data core. She quickly stowed it stuck between her scales and made a run for it. In the corner of her eye she saw the bandit chasing her and shouting. She ran as fast as she could on her four legs. If he catches her, he might kill her or sell her for profit. No way she wanted to get shut into a laboratory again. Ahead of her were the bandits still fighting the 'monster-hunting' robot. The bandit behind her was closing in and shouting for his mates to help. Confused and scared the bandits turned around. Tanith jumped quickly aimed and breathed a ball of fire at one of the heavy weapons one of the bandits was holding making it explode. The shockwave sent her flying in the distance, her ears ringing because of the loud noise knocking her unconscious.

Humen:
#52

From outside the cave echoes could be heard. Meanwhile #52 was stuck defending against the bandits weaponry. The bullets going through most of the shell protecting his arms. The bandits using rockets had begun to reload when the  noise coming form the cave became clear. Then the tall bandit spoke up to two others.

Hey you two go in there and see whats up, but don't say too long we've still got this to deal with.

Taking his attention back to #52 the other two bandits run back inside the cave. As they run something darts past them soon followed by their ally whom they left inside.

You idiots don't just stand after it!

Not sure what he meant by it the two bandits follow behind him while he continued to cry out for the others. Back on the outside of the cave the two bandits carrying rockets had finished reloading their weapons taking their sights on #52. Then out of no where one of the bandits rockets explodes with something coming out of the smoke into a trash mound. The sudden explosion startled the bandits including the one keeping #52 at bay. He hadn't stopped firing but instead shifted the gun ever so slightly. Taking advantage of the bandits sudden confusion #52 moved from the direction of the bullets and as he moved one of the bullets had gone and lodged itself inside the hole caused by the first rocket that hit #52. Rushing towards the bandits #52 took out his blade, there was a slight delay went it was coming from his arm along with some ratting with in his arm. Before the bandit could take notice and line his fire back up with #52 he stabbed the bandit in the arm forcing him to drop the front of the gun. Taking his sword #52 brought it around from his side slashing the bandit down his body.

No we got careless. Quick fire at him!

I don't know how he did it but I'd like to see him beat this!

Taking his stance the bandit fired the rocket at #52, who was still in the motion of slaying the other bandit. When #52 turned to see the rockets bolting for him, he could tell he wouldn't have enough time to get out of the way. Trying his best to calculate the speed at which the rocket was coming for him he retracted his sword. But the blades stopped before going all the way in, unfortunately there was no time to worry about that. estimating the speed of the rocket #52 bent his body backwards while extending his hand grabbing the end of the rocket before the warhead came into contact with him. #52 had gotten a firm grip on the missile but the engine propelling the rocket kept going. The rocket began to pull #52 forward in the other direction and he was beginning to his foothold. #52 turned towards the bandits still holding the rocket. Facing the rocket towards bandits #52 let go of it letting it launch at them. Unfortunately one of the wings on the rocket were bent from #52's grasp causing it to spiral out of control crashing into the cave entrance, sealing it with rocks and other types of debris. Although it wasn't what #52 had wanted to hit it was just as good. He walked towards the bandits trying to extract his sword but it wouldn't budge either way.

Ha! Nice going with our hideout sealed off you won't be able to get to the data core.

What core?

Don't act dumb it's the whole reason you came..........right?

#52 had no idea what data core the bandit was talking about instead as he approached the bandit he force-ably took the launcher from then using his hand deformed the barrel making it useless. #52 chose not to confront the other bandit as he had no weapons to threaten him, instead he looked at the sealed cave.

You sent your companions in there correct? I'd suggest you try and remove the rubble or they will die of air loss in there.

Yeah and how do we know you won't just finish us off if we do.

I have no reason to fight anymore. You two pose no threat unarmed and  assume it will take sometime before you can clear that cave out for back up. I shall leave the decision to help them to you but I don't plan to stay any longer.

#52 left the bandit to there to inspect something that caught his curiosity. He walked over to a junk pile in the distance, there was a slight column of smoke coming out from inside it.

Something made that rocket launcher explode. Whatever it was had to have came over here. It was to big to be apart of the launcher.

Clearing out some of the junk #52 was unsure of what lied in front of him. It was some sort of purple reptile, a strange sight to behold. Turning on his infrared he could tell the creature was still alive and that his suspicion of the creatures class was confirmed. Its body temperature matched that of the trash surrounding it. #52 analyzed the creature to determine what to do.

Analyzing...
No Matches Found.
Class: Unknown
Threat Level: Unknown
Course of Action: Report to headquarters

Hmm no records on it. I might have found a new monster or some type of wild animal. I'll send a message to headquarters to figure out which.

Anomaly Detected

While looking over the body of the creature there was something that stuck out within the creatures scales. #52 took out from with in the scale a small micro chip of some sort. Confused as to why a creature such as this would posses it #52 wondered if it was the same thing the bandits were talking about. #52 decided to put that thought aside and sent out a report of his findings on the thing in front of him. But he couldn't find a signal to connect him with headquarters.

Strange were suppose to be able to reach headquarters regardless of where we are in the region. It must be Utopia blocking the signal from reaching me.

Looking up at the underside of the flying city then back down to the reptile.

Well whatever you are I guess you can consider this thanks for assisting me with those guys. I'll have to get from under the city before I can contact anybody. But i suppose I'm hardly in any condition to fight with a monster anyway.

Looking down at his arm his sword still would budge from its fixed position and both the surrounding his arms were in horrible condition exposing much of his inner mechanics.  Going back to the data core in his hand decided to examine the chip from the monster to see who it might belong to  and if indeed it was the same one the bandits spoke of. #52 inserted it into a port in his chest. The data core was full of encrypted files it would take some time before #52 could crack and gain access them. Walking away from the junk pile headed back into the direction of the factory.

Tickles:
(Le Warren Post.)

The group managed to slay the remaining monsters, and were outside the pharmacy.

About time. Hey Warren, see if you can move that rubble blocking the door.

Got it.

Warren concentrates hard, and slowly moved the object out of the way. It took almost all of his effort, but the job was done. They had a large enough space to get in.

Nice job rook. Follow my lead as we enter, and we'll perform a full sweep. Remember, this is a rescue mission.

The three dismounted and Mike took the lead. They entered and seen their target on the ground. Warren ran over first, and checked her vitals. He stood up slowly.

She's.... she's dead.

DAMN IT! We were too late. Collete, check the area, see if there are any survivors. Warren, stay here. If anything comes, yell.

The two left, and Warren took another look at the body. The woman was clutching a gun, but it didn't look like any he had seen before. It was a bronze color, in the shape of a large revolver, but the place where the ammo was held glowed with a bluish color. The barrel was extended, and had no sight, but along the length, the same glow was seen. He took it in his hands. It was lighter than he anticipated, and it felt almost natural, as if it was made for him. He took aim at the far wall and pulled the trigger, but nothing came out. He pulled back the hammer, disengaged the safety, and tried again, but still nothing. Just a faint click. He checked for ammo, but the gun wouldn't open.

What is this thing?

His group returned, but Warren was fast, and hid the gun on him.

This whole place is empty. She must have wondered in alone. Come, we have to report back to base.

The three got on their hounds, and sped off back to base. Warren couldn't stop thinking about the woman, and the strange weapon he found.
