Yume Tsuki:
Yui heard a knock on the door. Groaning a bit she hugged her pillow more tightly.
"Don't wanna... Pillow is my bezzzt friendzzz..."
She mumbled. She was about the fall back to sleep again with a weird vision of widely grinning cows when she snapped back to reality by a louder knock. She turned to look at the clock. She groaned again rolled herself out of bed flinging her "best friend" to the footend. She sighed and walked to the door opening it. She looked up at the guy at her door.
"Do you realize what time it ---?"
"It's the dawn of a new day, and not just any day, folks. It's the start of the Galactic Tournament! Er...The day before the Galactic tournament! It's currently 8:00 AM, and it's the dawn of the day the tournament starts. The tournament, however, starts at 7:00 PM. You are free to do whatever you want in between this time, but you are not allowed to leave the city. We recommend you seize the day, and take advantage of the free Breakfast at the Galactic Hotel! On each of your tables you'll find a map of the city, and some recommendations on where to go. Lastly, the hotel is equipped with a sparring room, so if you want to spar, either grab one of the guards, or grab a partner! Now then, have a nice day, and remember, battles at seven."
He interrupted her mid-sentence. She stared at him for a minute in complete silence after his long introduction.
"Oh... Er... Thanks..."
The guard walked away. Yui just stared after him, then closed the door jumping back in bed grabbing her pillow. She remained there for a few minutes, though she knew she couldn't get back to sleep once she got up. Annoyed she picked her clothes and changed.
Will they do this for every person...?
Yui pitied those whom might be worse at getting up early. She yawned and then left for breakfast.

"Ding!"
The elevator opened up right in front of Yui. She looked around but saw nobody. Perhaps too impatient to wait for the elevator. Yui walked on to the door to the staircase. Going with the elevator down she found a ridiculous concept. Walking down stairs ain't tiring, walking up was a different thing though. She walked quite swiftly down the stairs, skipping the last one by jumping down. She looks at a spot that seemed like someone smashed his face in the floor. She decides to not think about it walking towards the restaurant section. A guy in his pyjamas was standing there. She just had a quick glance and then just passed him entering the room.

LunarOrbiter:
The sudden knocking of the door surprised Rika who was in the middle of getting changed. Judging from the intensity of the knock, whoever was there seemed to have an urgent message for her. Perhaps it was the organiser for the event? she initially thought but realised that it was probably a messenger. "Just coming!", she shouted as she hurriedly organised the mess that was her hair, until it was at least a somewhat presentable appearance in her mind. After fumbling around with the rest of her possessions, placing them in their proper places, Rika made her way to the door. The girl stopped right at the door to take a deep breath, thereby, composing herself. Today was going to be fun. With that positive attitude in mind, she gently opened the door to reveal the guard and their message.

Unfortunately, it was too early to absorb the dose of information she got. She probably didn't take much of the information in, rather, just the key points - the current time and the time the tournament starts. Small mumbles of a "Hmm" and "Ahh" emitted from her mouth as the guard spoke, no louder than the squeak of a mouse. The strain on her neck was quite substantial. Rika wondered if she was just short or if the guard was just, well, huge. She closed the door after thanking them for the message.  There wasn't much to say to a guard after all...was there? With a frustrated sigh, she drifted through her room to sit down for a moment so she could process the information given. 8 a.m... 7 p.m... I've got 11 hours to prepare. Okay. I should get breakfast first. With that in mind, she finally left her room, heading for the dining hall. However, there was one small problem.

She had no idea where she was going.

Lunartic:
Scarlet almost didn't hear the knock at her door, and if she didn't take her headphones off to shake her hair out she would've missed it. She hastily threw on a top and answered the door. "Can I help you?" she asked halfway through a yawn. The guard delivered his message and promptly left. She closed the door behind her and leaned her back against it. It took her a few moments for her brain to process what it was told. ". . . oh. Sh*t." She pushed herself away and put on her sweater. She had already been awake for an hour now and was relaxing with music after her shower when the guard came. She put on her headphones, made any due adjustments to her outfit, and set out to the lobby. She specifically asked the staff for a room on the lower levels, then she could take the stairs without being totally exhausted. Nobody took the stairs, after all.

The dining hall was packed with fighters crowded around tables, trying to memorize their maps over breakfast. She would have preferred her own cooking, but it's free food, so she didn't complain. She snickered on the inside; as if she would complain anyway. She picked a table on the far edge of the hall where the crowd was less dense and their voices wouldn't go through even her headphones. But after some peaceful isolation, and a meal that made her miss her mother's cooking, she set out for the sparring room to practise.

The-Blades-slave:
Aaron hurtled out of bed at the sound of the knock, flying to the door and tossing it open. "Yo what up, what can I do for ya?" The guard's eyes widened in surprise for a moment, then head read his message and left quickly. He stared at the spot the man had been, then shook his head and turned back into his room to get dressed. He realized at that moment he had answered the door in his boxers. "Well, that sure explains a lot..."

He threw on a black t-shirt with the words 'I'M THE MONKEY KING ' in big bold letters on the front, a baggy pair of jeans, and slipped on his sneakers. Then he grabbed his Ipod and turned on a song that sounded suspiciously like crazy train, hung his headphones around his neck, and took off out the door. He had decided to skip breakfast in favor of some sparring, and took a left to avoid the lunch hall entirely. He was too absorbed with his music to notice he was about to run into someone, and only saw a flash of red hair before he slammed into the person.

"Oh sh*t, I'm sorry!" He stuck out a hand to help her up, and offered a weak smile. "You okay?"

Lunartic:
Scarlet was wearing her headphones as well when Aaron ran into her. They landed around her neck at the moment, blaring an old rock alternative band. As for Scarlet, she hit floor with an "Oof!" After a few seconds of looking up to this tall man who ran her down, she couldn't help but smile back as he took his hand and got back to her feet. "Yeah, I'm alright," she replied and dusted herself off. She chuckled a bit. "Nice shirt."
