Yeah, I'd recommend anything he could find in a Shonen Jump. Bleach, One Piece, Rurouni Kenshin, Hajime no Ippo, and Air Gear.

I love one piece, 7 Samurai was pretty cool, Ghost in the Shell is okay. I'll have to check out most of the other ones. Bleach pisses me off to no end, i can't stand that show, dunno why, also what i've seen of deathnote i'm not a fan.

He watched FCLC, Cowboy Bebop and FMA. I think he can watch more than simplistic battle shonen...
