I applaud you!!! SERIOUSLY! That is wicked cool man. THOUGH! The Grass near the Gym is Irrelevant, since it's a town it's a safe zone with no pokemon. SO i suggest you get rid of the grass and replace it with something else.

Here's a remake with (no) grass I took on to that tip quick because it was so true I couldn't deny that XD.
