Piplup, as an Empoleon it's resistable to allmost any type, and to many type combinations others aren't. I allso can't help it, but to thik, that Piplup is soo cute ^^

I realized that most people chose fire starters. I think grass types are the least popular based on the poll...

My favorite starter has always been cyndaquil >.<

I see getting wise with me now! Jking. But yea swampert can be a great choice. Mostly everyone has fire types. For the grass type user's you can just Ice beam em.

 I was thinking that too, but I'm going to have to ice beam them first, if they're faster Swampert would take x4 damage, (you probably knew that) but that's why they made pokemon with 17 possible types, so I shouldn't have to much of a problem.
