Your Starter Pokemon

For me its between Squirtle and Cyndaquil. Squirtle has always been my favorite pokemon from the show but cyndiquil has to be my favorite from the game even though he was in only one version (gold/silver/crystal). If i can get both i'll be happy so it doesn't matter which one i start with. But if i could choose any pokemon to start with it would have to be Zangoose hands down.

I would have to pick Bulbasaur, he has always been one of my favorites.

You will be able to catch all non-legendary pokemon. That includes starters. The one you choose to be your actual starter will be bound to you, however, and you will not be able to trade or release it.

The part about my starter being bound to me and unreleasable is new info to me. I have no problem with that.

New to me, also.
Whoever I choose is going to be part of my 'Storyline Team' (Gyms, basically) anyway. I'm not going to get rid of any of them.
