do you always let your pokemon evolve?
sliux109:
i do it always exceppt for:
i dont know the time and i try to evolve to umbreon but i get espeon
evolve to shedninja sometimes because even though it has wonderguard, it has only 1 hp
i want to wait so that is can get a certain move earlier
i know that soon the new generation will come out with a different evolution and i wait for it and trade to that game and evolve there
im going to trade pokemon and prev evolution's base happiness is higher than nest evolvution

Sometimes it's just strategic to not evolve right away, which is common knowledge. Back when I had Fire Red, I stopped a Snorunt from evolving in Glalie once just because Snorunt would learn Blizzard the very next level, while it would take Glalie a good deal more.
Then there's just the cuteness factor of those 1st stage evolutionary lines. Togepi for instance; I just can't stand to let that little guy evolve. I always slapped an Ever Stone on it first time I got so that when happiness finally got to that point, it just wouldn't evolve. Same thing with most of the baby Pokemon too. Pikachu is the same way, even though Raichu is much better. Guess I just got to used to not being able to evolve him in Yellow, so now I can't bear to evolve it anyway. Thank god for the Light Ball though; makes having a Pikachu soooooo much better.

It is all in preference and what the trainer wants to do. I did the same thing with my Snorunt too lol :)
Monzta:
I let it evolve if the pokemon that it's going to evolve into looks awesome.

Me do too! Some pokemon just sometimes get a drop in appearance appeal when they get to their last evolution...

Best example of that is Mudkip. (How convinent....)
