Haha dude the same thing happened to me! my bro always saved over my saves. That's a thing new pokemon games should have, at least 3 save spots. xD

Yeah, like on zelda and mario.
I used to be a person who saved over games, too, back in the gold and silver days. me and my brother kept on erasing each other's games because he liked to start with totodile and I liked to start with cyndaquil, though he was the kind of person who didn't care about catching legendaries and special pokemon, but I took extra care to catch each and every one. I don't ever think I beat the elite four, but I think my brother beat red a few times, because I remember going along the route to Mt. Silver with all the strong pokemon. Once I learned how to duplicate pokemon, I kept on doing it with my brother's feraligatr and ho-oh, and then once I think I accidentally managed to erase both of them. Oh yeah, I was about four around this time, so I didn't know very much about pokemon.
