It exists.

Its got the learning curve of an 85 degree slope, but I feel it is necessary to get this game's name out there. I needs to be heard of. This is something that the gaming industry needs right now; a genre and playing style that has been next to forgotten.

I myself am learning to play, and I hope I see the rest of you trying the same. Put your thoughts of this game into this thread, and if you're like me, and wish to play, go to http://www.freeallegiance.org/ and download this game, and leave your callsign here.
