Not Jewelry. Gems. I guess because it started with Red, and they just went on, with G/S/C because those were kinda colors and Gems. So then they started doing Gems aswell.

Science questions: 1 Nope silly... the mass stays the same. So it would still be the same mass! In space the weight would be nothing because of gravity.
