Nexalas

He put on his synch band, not even saying a word. He couldn't stop thinking about his astral's recent threats, like earlier today when he said he'd take out Misty. He needed to confirm it, and what better way to bait his astral than to battle someone his astral hates? He then snapped back into reality when Ash blamed him for something stupid.
... Sorry about before, we'll talk later. Right now, though, I need to confirm something.
He then pointed his band out and synched with his astral... and then he blacked out.

He appeared in the thick forest on a trees side. He stood there, in a daze, but then he seemed to smile a red smile.
That boy was a fool if he thought he could control me for this fight. Now its about time I cleared my name.
He then started forging a sword as he jumped from tree to tree, all the while forging what appeared to be a blue crystal blade, it's color slowly deepening.

Nexalas

He was behind the group of three now, and noticed his phone vibrate. He looked to see Ashton texted him with Misty's phone, and walked silently behind him while typing on the numpad on his phone. He stopped a few feet behind them without a sound.

Text:I'm already there.

He then waited for them to notice him.

Nexalas

He smiled, laughing in his head.
Oh nothing, I'll go look for them.
He then turned to go see if they were at the car, then noticed from the window that the sports car, which was parked close to the shop, was gone. He processed this for a moment, then took out his phone and texted something to Ashton.
I'm going to get back at you for ditching us Ash.
He then turned it off and looked to Efialties, A smile hiding his pure rage.
Looks like we're walking home. See you later~!
He then walked out of the shop without a word, likely to give Ash an ear full later.

Nexalas

He didn't say anything, and just finished his ice cream as the 'cop' explained, listening and eating at the same time. There's a tourney tonight, he knew, and this could be a good chance to let loose his astral's pent up anger and get him to shut up for a few days. After the cop left, Nexalas got up and threw away what little trash he had away. He then walked up to Efialties and his friend.
Well, that was quite the misunderstanding. I'm gonna wait outside while you talk to your... friend.~
He then looked around, raising an eyebrow.
Speaking of friends, where's Ash and Misty? I didn't see them leave.

Nexalas quickly ordered his ice cream cone, using Ashton's twenty and a coupon to get two cones. He put the change in his pocket and sat down at a table not too far off from where Efi was. He then started biting off chunks of his ice cream until he noticed a sharp pain in his head. At first, he thought he was eating too fast, but then he heard a voice as if it was right next to him, but off in a distance all at once.
W..n a.. ..u g.... to ...tl. A....n?... I.. .i.. o. ..m.
He looked around, then noticed what seemed like a crystal next to his seat. He tilted his head, and then brought out his phone to avoid looking like hes insane as he was about to do something crazy: talking to a crystal he found next to his seat.

He then heard a chuckle as a figure appeared next to him, but no one else could see it except Nexalas. He knew this as when he appeared the first time, Ashton and the others couldn't see him.
Explain why your not trying to rematch Ashton. I'm growing tired of his meaningless bragging over his lucky win and your failure.
I told you before and I'm telling you again, he wont be willing to fight. If hes not at 100% we wont prove anything, he'll probably blame it on being distracted.

The figure then disappeared, as if he never existed. The crystal was still 'there', but at this point it has faded into a small shard. Nexalas then put away his phone and continued to eat his ice cream.

The silence dragged on for a few moments, and Nexalas sighed, knowing he shouldn't involve himself but he couldn't help but to try and lighten the mood. He shifted to sitting up on the couch.

Here's an idea: How about we go out and get ice cream or something? If this gets any more tense we might make a black hole.

He spoke in a half joking, half caring mannor. No matter how much he argued with Ashton, he didn't like seeing him miserable and the group fighting each other.
