What kind of music are you folks into?
I'm into alot of kinds. Like rap, RnB, Reggae, Rock, Metal, Hardrock. Alot of poop. What about you Lord and Savior? :P

I'm in to just about everything. I don't really rap. I find most of it just place meaningless. With a few exceptions. RIP Tupac. But I'm mostly into different kinds of metal. A7X is my favorite. RIP The Rev.

I really do love every kind of music. However, those are the genres I listen to most. What I listen to the least would be polka, gospel, and contemporary country.

Mainly progressive metal/rock. And all kinds of modern messed up variants like post hardcore technical progressive death metal whatever insert something-core here.
Also death metal, melodic death metal like old school In Flames, Scar Symmetry, Dark Tranquility etc, some metalcore, thrash, rock, grunge, pop, synthpop, classical music, video game music, mainly from Final Fantasy and Pokémon, etc etc.

I really hate metal and screamo poop. it is just not what music is about i mean they may be good at testing the limits to their instraments but music is about the lyrics to me.
I am into indie, some current pop stuff, alternative, techno, hip hop when its mashed up with a good song e.g Chiddy bang opposite of adults. I am a really big fan of lyrical music.

You can even classify screamo as a genre. And no I don't like screamo either.

Haha. I'm no Paramore fan (although I do love me some Hayley Williams, mmhmm!), but out of all the bands he mentioned, they're clearly the best. Still though, that's not saying much.

I like the mixes you have up. I've looked into being a DJ, but I really have no idea where to start :-\.
It depends on how you wanna do it. If you want to DJ with real turntables/CDJs, obviously you have to first buy a DJ setup which can cost a pretty penny. Then you have to learn how to beat match by ear which takes a lot of practice. The other way which you can do it is through your computer, which is much easier. All of the DJ programs for the computer will beat match the songs for you, so you can start practicing on set structure and song selection right away, which is how you control the crowd.
The simplest DJ program to get would be Virtual DJ. There are others that are more advanced, like Traktor and Abelton (which is like the hardest thing for me to figure out ever), but Virtual DJ does the job well enough. Once you get the program, pick a genre of electronic dance music you really like (Trance, House, Dubstep, Drum n' Bass etc.) and start building up your music collection around that genre.

is really wonderful. He's a DJ tutor and he can teach you what to do and how to do it. Look at his early videos to get information on how to blend tunes, set and song structure, and how to use the EQ as these will probably be the most important things you want to know.
