I would be a komodo dragon, because it's a giant lizard and technically the only dragon known to man, even though it's just a big lizard.
Or a gryphon, one of the two.
The Komodo Dragon's saliva is full of so much bacteria, that nothing can survive it's bite for more than 3 hours. The creature trails it's victim until it succumbs to infection, then feasts on it's flesh. They are also amazing swimmers, and have beautiful black tongues. I would be a Goliath Tarantula, because ONE, they are magnificent creatures, moving with grace and agility, yet with a voracious appetite. Or, I'd be a Giant Peruvian Centipede. With speed that rivals a cat's, I could deliver a painful sting that would leave my victim in pain for days on end. Or, Maybe Authropleura, the ancient ancestors of Millipedes and Centipedes. It was said to stand at 8.5 feet tall, and move quickly, writhing on millions of feet, swerving to avoid anything in it's path. Or, MAYBE, A Shou Tucker.
