Ideas & Suggestions / Re: Sequences
« on: October 11, 2010, 03:18:15 PM »
yea.. As children, we're told not to talk to strangers and to stay away from strange animals. In the world of Pokemon, not only are children encouraged to explore strange and new places, but in order to catch Pokemon, one has to venture into the tall grass in hopes of encountering the one you're looking for.
While Pokemon aren't supposed to attack humans, since when can one trust an animal to abide by human rules, right?
Are we to expect that Pokemon are submissive to humans? Sure, maybe you could smack around a unruly Caterpie or drop-kick a sassy Bulbasaur, and have them respect you through fear, but try and disrespect a massive Pokemon like Gyrados, Kyogre, or Steelix
There's gotta be at least one redneck Pokemon resident who thinks that it might be okay to hunt and kill one of "them Pokeymans" in which case, I expect the Pokemon to fight back.
Even if Pokemon aren't hunted for sport, some aspiring sea food chef out there must've thought at some point about how delicious of a meal some steamed Krabby would make, or maybe even a filleted and pan-seared Magikarp, with a side of Finneon.
Animals are dangerous until they're properly trained, and even when they're well-trained there's still a chance of getting mauled one day. Just ask Roy Horn from Siegfried and Roy about that.

lol :) just a thought

Fan Fiction & Writing / PokePrash The Story Behind the Success
« on: October 01, 2010, 09:45:15 PM »
The Sandstorm kept raging at us! Everything I’ve ever lived for... Gone! All I have now is the life I was gifted and my dear, Bulbasaur, Bulba. I held on to my Bulba close, not knowing where I was or what to do. All I can see is darkness below and the fierce night sky above. Unexpectedly a great blue light filled the air! I found it hard to keep hold of the ledge I was stranded on. That’s when I saw it. I finally saw it! Next minute I was flying over the night sky over the cities and lush forests teeming with life!

Part 1
I woke up from the sounds of laughter and commotion outside my bedroom window. I rushed out to see what all the fuss was about waking me up so early on a Saturday morning. There was a thick crowd of people circling around something. I was too small to see over anyone and tried to catch a glimpse of what was so “special.” I crawled through the crowd and made it to the front. It was a Pokémon trainer! Our town has never seen a Pokémon trainer before. He was tall, Confident, Happy, Stylish, and looked so Powerful! Everyone looked up to him, adored him…
“Hey Prash, Get to work now! Mr.Ohlram is waiting for you at the Bakery, he called five times!” Yelled my mother from the window.
I got home put on my uniform and strolled off to work.
Upon Arrival, I hung up my coat and went behind the counter…

“On the right we have Prash, Pokémon champion for five years and running, On the left we have the beautiful Elite Challenger Kyrié Kanhee.

Prash: Bulba, I choose you!
Kyrie: [chuckles] Go Ninetails!

The Pokémon Glared into each other’s eyes. I thought to myself, My Grass Pokémon is no match for her Fire type, I can’t give up! “Bulba, Get it with a vine whip attack” – “Dodge it Ninetails, Get it back with a Flamethrower attack” Nine tails roared out a Blaze of fire at Bulba. The flame was so intense that the whole arena  filled with smoke and ash making the surroundings impossible to see. A powerful seam of light started to focus directly into the center of the tournament, the smoke started clearing away and Bulbasaur appeared in the center absorbing all this light, “ Bulba! SOLAR BEAM ATTACK!! “ Bulbasaur leaped into the air and… “ Hey Kid!! Oi Prash!! WAKE UP!! There is a customer waiting to be served! What am I paying you for, you blasted kid. I don’t even know why your parents would adopt a good for nothing child like you, They should be ashamed of themselves!?!”

Not being able to say anything back to my boss I quietly said sorry to the customer and served him warm scones with some chocolate milk.

I thought…“someday I’m going to be somebody… the world best Pokémon trainer! I’ll encounter all the legendary Pokémon and own every type of Pokémon in existence! I’ll show these people I am capable of becoming something great! Someone people will want to meet, and learn from! A person people will look up to!”

Ideas & Suggestions / Skills / Pokemon Sumo Wrestling
« on: September 30, 2010, 02:21:43 PM »
I looked in the search bar, didn't see a page about this...

hey, this is a suggestion for far into the future.

I know this may be making the game less like the other Pokemon games, but i think that it would an idea to make the players more competitive and give them more things to do. Give trainers the ability to have skills that we can lvl up, and the higher the skill lvl the more things we can do with it. for example if you were going to have Pokemon contests, we could have a poke-block mixer lvl that our poke-blocks are more successful or we can use better ingredients at greater lvls. or a Stamina Skill , that higher lvls can go faster/ for longer without loosing your breath. etc. Fishing Skill, ability to use better rods and get better catches at higher lvls...

(btw, what do you think about having a Pokemon sumo mini game? like in the episode, and where there is a way to take care of your pokemon in such a way that u only train them in certain areas like weight, strength, agility...etc... in a particular way to be at utmost advantage in sumo )

the more minigames the MMORPG has we can have more things to put up for the leader-boards /highscores, and gives us trainers a lot more variety of competition instead of just battling :)

Games / Re: Playing styles over the years...
« on: September 30, 2010, 01:39:05 AM »
I still remember back when i rushed out the get Pokemon Blue the day it came out :)

even tho i was in love with charizard i Picked squirtle for some reason...
but i remember, I trained that blastoise to lvl 100 and all my other pokemon were weak on average lvl 30.. so yea, i used to do that, so i found rival battles hard and he'd have a grass type...

but now i always keep all my pokemon at roughly the same lvl, so if my pokemon are all lvl 40 and one becomes lvl 41, i train all the others to be lvl 41, and so on...
I also always have these types in my party at all times : Water, Fire, Grass, Ghost, Flying, ( and a random one )
so now whatever pokemon type is used against me i PWN, and being at low lvls the battles still put up a decent challenge :) and keeps the game more fun rather than using one pokemon the whole game :)
